Greenfields House

Essex | Greenfields Community Housing | Completed

A civilised and uplifting working environment for Greenfields Community Housing, the building combines office functions with community rooms and meeting spaces.

The sustainability strategy achieved a BREEAM 'Very Good' rating and combined natural ventilation, ground source heat pumps, and concrete soffits that provide thermal mass and are exposed as part of the interior scheme .

We didn’t want a clinical, bland, red brick social housing headquarters that was stamped with ‘them’ and ‘us’. We wanted something that is ... enjoyed by all. A shared space. We were listened to and understood and today every time I pass the building I smile at what we helped achieve.
