Evening Standard - New London Awards shortlist

We are delighted to see our design for the 237 Brixton Hill mixed-use development to be shortlisted in Evening Standard’s New London Awards in the Best Housing Scheme 2020 Category!

A new mixed-use, four-storey building providing commercial  space - split between basement and ground floors, and apartments at upper levels.

The design of the facade differentiates the base, middle and top of the building. The base is clad in high quality precast panels, while the facade of the main building area sits behind a regular brick frame creating generous balconies and changing shadows throughout the day. A lightweight zinc-clad lantern forms the top of the building, which is set back from the extents of the building below to retain a clear heirarchy of top, middle and base.
