Mountbatten View is shortlisted for Inside Housing Development Awards 2025

Mountbatten View (at Paradise Fields) our affordable housing for Dacorum Borough Council is shortlisted for Inside Housing Development Awards 2025. IHDA flag outstanding residential development from the past year and are a bellwether for UK housing.

 Mountbatten View in Hemel Hempstead, which provides 58 homes to tenants at social rent and was completed in February, is a finalist in the Best Affordable Housing Development (£10m to £20m) category.

 Located on a sloping town centre site adjacent to mature open landscape, homes are provided in three pavilions negotiating the change in level. The buildings have an expressed frame with light-coloured brick infill creating a civic character for a development viewed prominently as a gateway into Hemel from St Albans arterial road. The development respects the established landscape providing an open boundary, communal amenity, play areas and habitat improvements.
