Paradise Fields is part of an ambitious housing programme undertaken by Dacorum Borough Council.
Located on a site adjacent to a mature open landscape it delivers a 100% social housing development of 58 new high-quality homes within three residential pavilions. The development respects the established existing landscape, providing communal amenity, play areas and habitat improvements.
The competition winning scheme has an unapologetic civic character that defines the development’s location as the gateway into Hemel Hempstead.
The buildings have an expressed frame with a light brick infill. The structure extends beyond the main mass, framing an illuminated set back and acting as a beacon befitting its location.
