'Hands-on’ RIBA-certified CPD by Repair Care UK

In February we hosted a ‘hands-on’ RIBA-certified CPD by Repair Care UK about timber restoration and uses of epoxy resin. Specification Account Manager Misan Andy Ludart summarised the benefits of epoxy resin versus traditional “two-pack” fillers, causes of wood decay and cost and carbon savings in comparison to window replacement. The presentation showed many refurbishment examples (including Castle Howard and Elizabeth Tower) questions to get us thinking and finished with a demonstration repair and chance to have a go ourselves.
