Mountbatten View (aka Paradise Fields) in Hemel Hempstead highly commended in Inside Housing Development Awards Best affordable housing development – £10m - £20m. We’re very pleased to see this development of 58 social rent homes for Dacorum Borough Council and built by Bugler Developments recognised in stiff competition. Congratulations to the winning teams!

Located on a sloping town centre site adjacent to mature open landscape, homes are provided in three pavilions negotiating the change in level. The buildings have an expressed frame with light-coloured brick infill creating a civic character for a development viewed prominently as a gateway into Hemel from St Albans arterial road. The development respects the established landscape providing an open boundary, communal amenity, play areas and habitat improvements.
